There are only three crewmembers and a robot.
I can’t have my spaceships, laserguns, and robots comic without robots. But I DO need to get more creative with my robot designs.
Sooo… are you going to draw robots, or build them like ships? ))
I'll stick with drawing them for now. They're more characters than machines, but the do frustrate me.

If we're doing suggestions, might I suggest taking a look at the geth from Mass Effect for inspiration? There are also other robots and remnants in the same game series, but the geth are my favorite x3

I'm not sure whether we had a chance to see how smart Louise is (or as Luis was), but Charles rescued Lucas and Cadugan a few times using mostly his smarts. I'm sure he will come up with something.

Zero-gravity safety training: if you're expecting gravity to return suddenly, make sure to first grab on to something. Here you've got a railing and a ladder that make for good, easy grabbing. If you need help reaching for them, remember action and reaction: throw something (like your shoes if you have nothing else) in the opposite direction of where you want to go. Once you've grabbed the ladder or the railing, use your grasp on it to maneuver yourself to a place that will be safe to be once gravity has returned. And only once you've done that do you call for your kitsune wrench wench to restore gravity.
Also probably wouldn't hurt to learn to land on your feet like a cat.
