just a thought, do those visors work both ways? if so, things could be a lot easier from here out.

If I were Ranna they’d be cursed/enchanted to prevent anyone but a gorgon wearing them safely.

That is one incredible shot! Temple to temple with a fast moving pointy stick is one heck of an accurate shot.

A good start but I’m with Caelin on this one. I doubt that’ll work twice, let alone tree times but I can hope. Charles is quickly becomming my favourite character. A thought though….say they do kill all three gorgons, could Gram possobly rework the Mass Shape Change potion he’s making to return the converted gorgons to human (and drow, goblin, orc etc) form?

Hahaha, I never even noticed that. Typed that first thing this morning when I checked, was still half asleep.

Nice shot, considering he apparently used a target arrow…

      June 21, 2017, 9:08 pm | # | Reply

A target arrow is precisely what you want for this stunt. It penetrates flesh much better and goes cleanly through. Any type of barbed or field point would have too much resistance to go right through, and armour piercing points aren’t necessary and don’t fly as straight as a target arrow.

Armour-piercing might be what you want to enter a skull.

Sufficiently armour piercing sure. A target arrow might be sufficient depending on the draw weight, which we have no way to know.

Can gorgons petrify each other? In case they can, now they need only a good knife or sword or the sorts (which they should have, considering they skinned the deer), and they have a gorgon head as a weapon. And/or as a possible tool to depetrify others…
I know its a bit messy, and Caelin might would have difficulties to stomach it, but if it works…

      June 21, 2017, 5:15 pm | # | Reply

I’m not sure if Gorgons can petrify each other, given they’d run the risk of stoning themselves whenever a mirror got involved….
Though I do remember reading somewhere that gorgon blood can reverse petrification… and they’ve now got about 8-10 pints of it to harvest.

"if Gorgons can petrify each other, given they’d run the risk of stoning themselves whenever a mirror got involved"
Not necessarily, Perseus also saw the mirror image of Medusa.

There was this guy named Jason who used a mirror, a sword and a bag. Do they still have the deer’s skin?

        June 22, 2017, 3:29 pm | # | Reply

It was Perseus who beheaded Medusa using the polished interior of his shield Aegis to be able to look for the Gorgon without giving her a direct line of sight to use her Petrification ability, and stored her head in a knapsack given to him by the Hesperides.
