Hello my pretties. So I’m flying off on a 2-week trip to Toronto. A little bit of that is vacation, a little bit visiting Jenny, most of that will be working on adapting a house for a senior family member. But it means I’ll be away for 2 weeks.
I have left an update for Monday, so you’ll get that, and if I have time today, I’ll put one up for Wednesday, but right at this moment I’m making no promises. While there I doubt I’ll have time to drawn new ones, but I’ll have my notebook for future strips and stories, and t! and I are conspiring to get back to the Mystery Plot! So have a great 2 weeks friends! See you when I get back.

-He'd only have a warrant out for him if the police knew he was doing this. Playing with fire, yes, being currently sniffed out by the police, no.
It was a comment in reference to that thing about if you have sex with your clone would count as masturbation. A big silly thing indeed.
And about Dr Lumen…well yes, I'm supposing things, still we don't know why the Androids are forbiden
Best guess would be: The Powers That Be are afraid of a robot rebellion, and Androids are much more sophisticated than the average robot.
THESE androids would be extra-super-illegal, since they actually LOOK like normal people.
Now, where have I seen that machine before… clearly I need to be on the lookout for strangely phallic-shaped rocks.
It's from an episode of the original Star Trek. I'm too lazy to go searching for the exact episode.

But I think they were being ironic. The reference to phallic rocks is a direct reference to that episode, where Kirk grabs a rather unfortunately shaped stalagmite to defend himself against a hulking android named Ruk.
I just looked that up.
Props dept must have felt a bit ashamed, making a joke and then getting away with it, holy carp.

So it looks like I was right about why they're naked in my comment on the previous page "They can't pass for you if their clothes are permanently attached"
So the "Yeah, we're gonna send fakes out with your ship while you stay here as our "Guests" and the fakes will set a false trail." plan I speculated about was also correct perhaps?
Now how is Gen going to try to mess this up? "Hey Gen, you wierdo, let's get freaky in the closet!"

I've only seen like half of TOS.
The usual reason: Whenever you tune in, it's always an episode you've seen before. So I've seen a tonne of them like 5, 6 times – but only half of them.
And of course one of those is NOT "What Are Little Girls Made Of?"

BK, does this mean that the androids are going to get busted by the cops when they show up at New Elegrost?
I've seen much fewer than half, partly because every time I did watch, it was 1 of a few episodes, or that's how it seemed to me then. Kirk smooching an alien, uhuru repeating the computer, and spock being logical. I can't even recall seeing scotty or sulu ever. There are a few that I very much would like to see. One of these days.
(And no, I've never seen tos movies, altho i saw the crossover with kirk and picard, and maybe one after that? I've see all tng, seasons 1-6 and a few of 7 of ds9, 1-3 of voyager. )
Additionally, For years i only saw one Saturday night live. Every time I tuned in, it was the steve martin king tut episode. Like 6 or 7 or 8 times. It was weird.
I guess we'll find out soon what he does with the originals. 🙄

What i find more eww is that his family died unexpectedly (iirc), so how did he manage to get their memories and personalities to create the androids?
Journals, home movies, social media, work and school files, etc. Basically all the stuff scrapers use today to try and customize your feeds and ads to manipulate you. Not that it worked, since Peter isn't playing his part.
