Towards the end of the chapter Lich of the Rings I, Fang does kill and eat a sentient being. (I'm really trying to not give spoilers). Kobolds are carnivorous.
I remembered that it happened because I found the drawing to be extremely creepy and disturbing.
Well, when Jone "Half-Orc" WhiteEye tried killing Fang, he was making some remarkable moves in the battle…

I find funny they have put a void suit to the android…well, maybe is quite curious they had a kid size void suit in there!

It doesn't fit him very well; it's kind of baggy. I think it's sized for the regular crew.
In Freefall there's a strip where the team robot says he can go into a vacuum because he doesn't need to breathe. Then he's asked how he keeps his processors cool, and he answers "I've got fans cycling fresh air in from outside… Oh, I do need to breathe!"
Just because a robot does not need oxygen doesn't mean it can operate in a vacuum!
Helix is a special kind of lunkhead. I need to do another archive binge at some point.
You are discarding a liquid refrigerator system or that in the vacuum the temperature is usually quite low (except "close" to starts or alike)
While the temperature of vacuum of space is very low, since it is a vacuum, the capacity for heat exchange is also very low. You can't rely on convection.
So you need a cooling system designed to operate in a vacuum. That's when things start getting complicated, especially if you want to integrate it inside a child-sized humanoid body.
"Near stars" indeed. The temperature of vacuum around Earth (at 1AU from Sun) is over 100,000 K thanks to solar wind. Of course, it's so sparse it won't heat anything, but technically speaking it can be measured.

YAFGC: Those banners and sails in the background of the first panel likely mean someone is catching up to them.
CoW: The white text on the dark background is very hard to read in the first panel, likely because CoW is posted in a smaller format than YAFGC. I hope the crew remembers to bring their spare space suit back with them when they leave.
Yeah, that was a gamble. It didn't work. I'll not do it that way in future.
I opened the image in a new tab and zoomed in to 100%. Then it's much easier to read. Now I wonder what the old doc is up to. 🤔
