Sorry all! Fallen a bit behind with the updates again. I’ve got to finish up the next YAFGC strip and I’ve got at least two more CoW strips all ready to go. Will get to them very soon.

More apologies. I have more of both stories in the buffer, ready to go, but I’ve been busy and distracted, Easy to do with my ADD brain. I’m currently finishing up my last week at my job at the Bookstore, and I’ve been enjoying the return of our baby girl from University. More to come very soon!
Also: Interesting bit of trivia I just noticed: The current sequences of BOTH stories are taking place inside a mostly empty ship hold

Get that monkey a Captain's hat.
I second the motion
Me three! 😂
Cute little monkey there, let's hope they continue to pay attention to the little beast now they're free.
Cole's glasses disappear in the fifth panel.
WHAT? Oh no! AAARRRGH!!!
of camera cleaning and checking if they were still one piece after the fall 😛
"Use Key on Monkey"
She had a glitch with her hologlasses
Cole was so shocked at the android parts her glasses flew off! 🙂
She was cleaning them off camera. 😋
Darn, you beat me to it x)
Mon key to the rescue.
Ah oui! Ton key va etre useful ici.
YAFGC: Now they're all free! Yay!
CoW: Oh I bet these look creepy…
I'm guessing they more likely look sexy, and this is a variant on the "Girl in a box" trope as seen in Firefly and Outlaw Star.
Guessing or hoping? ;D
Anyway, a sexy-looking thing in PARTS is still creepy.
I love the non-verbal communication, and fluidity of movement, as always.
But did they need the monkey? Couldn't they have worked at the bonds with their backs to each other, or is the idea that they were tied too tightly/too close to the body?
t!
Not that I have any problem with Chekhov's money – far from it!
t!
They might have come around to that idea at some point, but the monkey is quicker and wanted to be part of the escape plan. Lest he be left behind.
Works for me!
t!
Peep!
I love it.
t!
See? I was right. The key opens ropes… via monkey. So I neglected the last part, I can keep track of ALL the details.
Katherine is almost providing a little fan service there.
I throw poses and shots like that in there for self motivation sometimes.
YAFGC: Um, yeah, I am afraid the monkey is the brains of the operation now. Those two need a keeper. For some reason, I want the monkey to end up with Cap'n Fang in the end.
CoW: If I had a fall like that, I would likely take my glasses off to check them, and reseat them. I bet androids, when assembled, count as sentients though, when robots perhaps do not? And so transporting them like that might be a form of kidnapping? Well, I am sure we will get an explanation eventually, as Cole will likely demand one.
Now they owe the monkey a few bananas
Why? They gave him his freedom, and he gave them theirs. It's a fair trade.
The monkey is lucky that they are not so smart. Charles seems smart by pointing out that they are tied, but not smart enough to suggest they go back to back to untie each other before the translate the monkey's message.
in their defence: I'm not sure they were given enough time to even start to make up escape plans before Katherine was taken away to be searched. Also, have you ever tried to untie a well-made knot you can't see with your own hands tied behind your back? I'm sure it could be done, but I'm also sure it would take some time. The monkey is quicker. Plus, if he is smart enough to help them like this, he might be helpful in other ways as well.
True enough that the monkey is the better option once they have the key. I just had the impression that Charles and Katherine had been there for a bit of time at least before 3589. Not as long as they guys with the long beards in the dungeon with the walls full of tick marks in The Wizard of Id, but enough time to have tried to untie each other.
Very shapely backside on Louise.
They're fun to draw.
Androids are a type of robots. That's technically correct, which as we all know is the best kind of correct. Not sure the local bureaucrats would have agreed in this case; apparently androids are treated differently from other robots in the Collective of Worlds.
After all there's a lot of differences between C3PO and a CNC machine, even if both are technically robots.
The pirates obviously never read the Evil Overlord rules, namely the part about Cute Animals being able to aid in escapes.
Pirates traditionally can't read at all. It's why they have to make janky treasure maps instead of a short log entry.
Also, the only letter that pirates know is r-r-r-r-r!
Heard a new one (for me) couple weeks ago:
Why can't pirates finish the alphabet?
Cuz they're always at c
