Rolanda for Roll? I guess I can't really think of a first name that translates to "roll" either the way Peter means rock, either, so a pun will do.
It's the feminine of Roland, meaning renowned land, most famously the name of Charlemagne's nephew. Not everything is a joke; in fact most things aren't
I know what Roland means, and it doesn't mean "roll" but it does kind of start with the same sound. So a pun instead of a translation.
This is about the Mega Man reference going on. Mega Man is a robot named Rock, who has a robot-sister named Roll, and both of them were created by Doctor Light. Now "Peter" means "rock", "Lumen" means "light", but "Rolanda" doesn't mean "roll". But then again, I can't think of a classical first name that means "roll" anyway.
It's androids on steroids!
