Ugh. That is the WORST Cap’n Fang I’ve ever drawn! Apologies. I was in pain at the time. Friday’s strip is going to be kinda unimpressive too. But as I feel better (and I AM feeling better!) I’ll get back on track.
He also seems to have changed into a lighter coloured outfit for this story. Not sure if I like that or not, but I’ll stick with it for now.

Nice to see you are up and running again! Welcome back and I hope the back sorts itself out. The only thing for that kind of problem in my experience is back muscle strengthening exercise. It's no fun early on, but it helps so much more than any painkiller or procedure ever will. I say this as a fellow old guy who has struggled with a hernia in the past.
Oooh, owie. Thanks for the advice and the sympathy. I'm on a physio routine designed to strengthen my hip/back muscles down there. It's the point right where the nerves leave the coccyx area on the right hand side. Not at all ironically the same place that our 5' articulated plastic skeleton (Billy Bones) broke and I had to spike him back together with dowels and chopsticks.
My Doctor advised against using the same procedure on myself, so I’m back to physiotherapy.
If Cap'n Fang is on this ship, not his own, then at least we know one crew member will survive the upcoming battle. (I also have high hopes for Quill the pigeon.) Let's hope that Fang can somehow save the two captives as well.

I don't know that it's fair to call Fang's twin brother "evil". He's more beef-mallow twinge-of-regret infused battery acid.

As buff as Fang is it makes sense Amy would buy him a buff coat.
I'm thinking she made it for him. The whole outfit.
She couldn't have made it. Amy's been very clear she wants to rip Fang's clothes off, not put more on him.
People are nuanced. What she wants for Fang when he's with her is different from what she wants for him when he's away with other people.
Especially since he showed up in the buff
It'll be a bit odd not having him be captain, but regardless, he'll make things interesting! Idk how safe, but always interesting!
So glad that you are feeling better, Rich! I suffer from sciatica and degenerative arthritis myself, so I sympathize. Hope the pt regimen helps 😊
If Fang isn't the captain, knowing him it won't be long before he is the captain.

Even when he was captain, it didn't take long till he wasn't. Arachne for example took control really quickly every time…
But in the end it all doesn't matter. I'm sure Fang doesn't need any title, he is way beyond such trivialities. 😉
