A sense of entitlement is a common root of evil. Papa Steward felt entitled to the job despite not actually receiving it, felt entitled to squander his money in hotels, and felt entitled to his spouse's assets.
Good that the youth that became Louise learned to no longer fear bullies, even if that bully was their father.
I was getting host error since late last night, but now i see the site and comments, but yet not the comic. I'm looking via an android phone (no clue any other particulars). I haven't tried on an actual computer.
This strip, alone of the current tranche, is not showing for me, in either Pale Moon or Brave or firefox or Chrome or Edge. Windows 10 personal, and I go pretty light on the addons.
I'm not sure how related to the problem this is, but when I try to copy out just the image's address, and load it into another tab as just the jpg itself… I don't get an image file, I get one of these site webpages with "page not found" text in the middle of it, where a comic strip would be. That shouldn't happen trying to load an image file; it should either load the picture or fail to if it can't find the file.
Despite the jpg tag at the end of the line, it's trying to load a webpage address in place of an image file link.
Loving this, loving having YAFGC back!
It's a herculean effort to keep it going. But I'm happy to have it back too!
My main hope is that publishing gives you as much pleasure as it gives us. That you feel a smidgen of the reward you give us.
Well, at least it's not a sisyphean effort.
So is Louise trans or was she born female and just hiding as a boy? (Possibly to avoid the Rannites or ‘appease’ her slimeball father).
Nevermind, I went back and read some of the comments and she is trans 😀
Always great to see more inclusivity and it becoming more and more accepted nowadays.
I didn't say she WAS exactly… she… well you'll find out in the backstory, but let's say she's as trans as my trans friend would let me portray.
Fair enough. Still, it's great to see more representation, and if your friend is happy with the portrayal, then even better 😀

Yay, a new episode… which doesn't load when I visit the site (just an icon next to "3563 Some Time Ago" (7:01 EDT)
It did load yesterday. Still, hopefully Rich will see your comment.
Good to know it's not just me that can't see the image.
Same here. I see everything *except* the comic.
It's working for me. I'm doing some maintenance on the site, but it should be working. Can you see the comic?

I also had the host error yesterday, and now the broken link both on Android and browser (Firefox, if it matters).
It's showing now. Thankyou.
Comes up as Page Not found when I try to load it: https://www.yafgc.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/2024-05-27-3563-some-time-ago.jpg
Same here.
Uh, what exactly are you trying to upload?
I've fixed the error, I just need to know if you can see the strip at yafgc.net.
This strip appears to still be broken
I get the broken image icon for the comic, but can see everything else.
(The previous comic shows up fine, so it's not an issue with the entire site structure, just that image.)
Try today?
Working now, thanks.
Yeah, I can't see it either…
I'm using Firefox as my browser if that makes any difference. Still not seeing the strip but everything else is fine.
The strip is visible now for me.
I love that expression of frustration and contempt in Panel 2.
t!

The link to this page's pic seems to be broken, it doesn't load for me now.
Nor me. Yet from the other comments, some people can see it?

It was here before, it only disappeared now.
I've been fiddling with the editing function on the site. Can you see it now?
yep! there it is!
thanks!
Image for this page is broken. Copying and pasting image link gets page not found. Page before #3562 and 18th anniversary page work.
No image for the comic. What’s up?
I'm not seeing a comic either.
The image is still not visible. There's no thumbnail in the RSS feed either, so it's really gone.
