20 YEARS OF YET ANOTHER FANTASY GAMER COMIC!!!!
HOLY CRAP!
Can you believe 20 years has gone by since Gren caught Bob spying on her?
Thank you for reading all these years, sticking with us and patiently waiting for the next strip to publish, even when that took an unreasonable amount of time.
Love you, love this world.
Here’s to 20 more!
-Rich “Beholder King” Morris

Good for you, Rich; and good for us, too. Thank you for the years of great entertainment. Glad to have you around.
Thank you, Myk.
Happy comicversary! Thanks for all the laughs over the years.
You're comicwelcom! Thanks for reading and laughing.
Thank you for 20years of laughter and fun.
Even when i am following you on this Adventure for just the last five years.
Keep on going and take all the time you Need.
Thank you so much!
Amen to 20 more years! Can't thank you enough, or stress how your comic has gotten me through rough times. Lots of laughs and love, and some heartbreak too, and always amazing storytelling! Huge hugs!
Thank you P!e! It's always wonderful to see your comments and know you're still here.
The important lesson is, no matter the space or time, goblin girl boobies are still nice after all these years.
Yup. And Orcish boobies too! Boobs is boobs!
YAY!We gets teh boobies!
It's been a really fun ride, I think I found this when you were about 2 years in and have been along ever since.
W00t! Thank you! I hope there'lll be lots more to come, too!
Congrats on 20 years!
Thank you!
Fun fact. I've completely forgotten the names of Charles's brother and his boyfriend, the name of the place where they ate and whose murder they're investigating
O.O You mean Cadugan and Lucas? They're married, so Lucas is his husband now. Not sure what you mean by the name of the place where they ate… they've dined at a lot of places, mostly at their home in Greyfort Castle. They're investigating the murder of a minor character (Idriel, I think?) at a Monestary and just cleared Queen Mum Maula Bloodhand off the suspect list.
What I meant is… The T is too damned close to the R and there's no way to edit a comment once it's posted (also, I wasn't paying attention),
Is the monastery near the coast? Can you arrange for Charles and… I'm terrible at remembering names and don't feel like looking it up, to end up there so we can get back to the sleuthing? PLEASE
LOUISE! That's the name I was trying to remember
Jeez, Louise.
I'll stop now
You're not the only one who:
A: Forgets what is happening where and when and;
B: Wishes there was an edit function;
Especially for our "DOH" comments.
Whichever/whatever, it's still been fun here so far.
I think the victim's name was Taurenil?
Β‘20 aΓ±os no es nada! Enhorabuena por tu paciencia y talento. Y todavΓa entran lectores nuevos como yo, que hasta hace un aΓ±o ni conocΓa el webcomic…
Thank you! I'm sorry my Spanish is lacking, but welcome to Our world and I hope you enjoy it!
Don't worry, I read quite well in english, but sometimes is easy to explain in my language
Happy anniversary!
Thanks!
And none of the non-human characters here are as green as I imagined them x)
Hhaha, that's because on Ourth, Goblins are earth tones, browns and greys, and Orcs are green. Cole is only Orc blooded, so she's only green-ish.
This webcomic has been a beacon for me for most of my life. A lot of the stories, plot points and character dynamics here I have long internalized to the point they have become part of my catalogue of tales and personal myths.
Happy anniversary, Rich.
!! Really? I'd love to discuss some of them with you. That it's touched you makes me very happy!
I don't comment often but I've been reading since around the time Arachne was trying to set Gren up on a date.
Thanks for so many years of exciting adventures, relatable characters and exciting storylines. π₯°
Wow! A long time reader indeed! Thank you for sticking with me!
I didn't start reading this 20 years ago, but I started from #1 and made my way forward.
It's always been a great comic and I look forward to it continuing.
Thank you very much! I hope it'll be around for many years to come!
It has been a great ride. Thank you. I think I started a couple of years into it. While going through a separation at the time, it brought me joy and I found that I had to limit myself to about 5 strips a day so I could spread out the fun.
I'm so sorry you went through such a tough time. But if my silly characters and stories helped at all, it was all worthwhile!
Wow. On the one hand, 2006 was so very long ago. On the other hand, I was of the vague impression yafgc started in the late 90s.
Probably because some of the characters and setting data is older, going back the Rich and Hilary's home games back in the day.
I've been reading since the beholder household was just BK, DM and all the characters living in his head. It's one of the few comics from back then I'm still reading. FOR GOOD REASON.
Congratulations, Rich, on twenty years of YAFGC! i started reading around the second year of the comic, and was hooked immediately. YAFGC has given me a lot of laughs, has also helped me through rough times. You're a great storyteller, and you've developed such well rounded characters that they are like old friends.
Thank you for twenty years of YAFGC, and for letting me be a small part of it. Here's to another twenty, and more of the deep, "grounded" philosophy of Cap'n Fang. π
And, congratulations on rolling a 20, Rich! π
20 years! And I only discovered this excellence by accident last month. Thank you for spending time on this. I hope I can afford to send $$ support soon, even though I canβt add to my monthly budget. The story arcs are wonderful.
Thank you and welcome! Your generosity is very kind, but I do this mostly for fun. That being said, I appreciate the help and support.
Huzzah and Congrats!
I can't believe it's been this long! I remember reading the first strip at my favorite coffee shop when it premiered!
So much has changed but this comic is still fantastic!
Old YAFGC! Old YAFGC!
The art on this comic is great, the writing is great, the comic in general is great, and you, sir, are great for making it.
Congratulations, and thank you. π
i've been reading this since 2011. love this comic so much. thanks for the laughs, the tears and the genuine feels over the years rich. and thanks for helping me discover my lifelong addiction, D&D. here's to another 20 mate.
Several years ago, a now-departed friend posted a fun panel from the tournament saga on his Facebook page, which led me to look it up, follow along from the beginning, sign up for Patreon for a while, and wait impatiently for each new post. This is a wonderful world of its own, a great community, and a fond memory of my friend. Thanks for all you do, Rich, and forgive my impatience as I chomp the bit for each new post. PS, I think you still owe me a character sketch. π
Descendent of Gren?
Nah, events are not hereditary! Plus I'm not sure that's supposed to be Collective of Worlds canon anyway. What is Cole bathing in anyway? It's not a natural pool in a cavern, it's far too large to be a bathtub, and it wouldn't really make sense to bath yourself in a swimming pool or coolant tank or whatever they might have on their ship.
Cole is a distant descendant of Glon, so she's orc-blooded, but probably not a descendant of Gren.
Congratulations, and thank you for these 20 years!
I would bake you a yafgc themed cake, but I am terrible at decorating cakes… Also, I wouldn't be able to get it to you…
And since you didn't post these strips, I thought I do it:
https://www.yafgc.net/comic/0366-one-year-today/
https://www.yafgc.net/comic/2193-6-years-of-yafgc/
Just complete the series…
Congratulations, my friend. Hard fight sometimes, but you're still standing.
t!
I've read through twice, and at some point moved it to abandoned/ended/"completed, but I'm glad it's back. I guess I'd want more of the ginger, idk who she is.
One of my favorite comic artists uses mostly 3d art, and re-uses an image of Spock as Marilyn Monroe for in-comic wall art.
