2756 We Want You For Rannas Recruits
Rite of Summer is a M/M erotic romance, set in the turbulent summer of 1810.
From the blurb:
There are terrors worse than stage fright. Like falling in love.
Violinist Stephen Ashbrook is passionate about three things—his music, the excitement of life in London, and his lover, Evander Cade. It’s too bad that Evander only loves himself. A house party at their patron’s beautiful country estate seems like a chance for Stephen to remember who he is, when he’s not trying to live up to someone else’s harsh expectations.
Joshua Beaufort, a painter whose works are very much in demand among the right sort of people, has no expectations about this party at all. Until, that is, he finds out who else is on the guest list. Joshua swore off love long ago, but has been infatuated with Stephen since seeing his brilliant performance at Vauxhall. Now he has the chance to meet the object of his lust face to face—and more.
But changing an open relationship to a triad is a lot more complicated than it seems, and while Evander’s trying to climb the social ladder, Stephen’s trying to climb Joshua. When the dust settles, only two will remain standing…

So apparently kobolds don’t meet their stringent standards… Should I expect a certain pirate captain to make an appearance?
Yup, he’s gonna be the secret weapon that finally defeats Ranna, once and for all (he’s gonna turn out to be their world’s version of Fizzban)
It’s funny, in the D&D edition I’m the most familiar with, kobolds have better mental stats than orcs. (Both have penalties, but it’s -2 Wisdom and -2 Charisma for kobolds, vs. -2 Intelligence, -4 Wisdom and -4 Charisma for orcs.)
It’s obviously not the case in Rich’s setting though. 🙂
No, Captain Fang is just ‘special’ (he is the True King, not that Runt usurper)
Do I know you from somewhere?
Probably, post in a lot of webics, including Battlepug 😀
The true king is the one who has the necessary support to hold the title. I like Fang, but he couldn't even get Eddy (who was the only one in support of the axe challenge) to support him, much less any nobles and their troops.
i guess the Mistress on the left says: "Don’t touch the kobolds. We won’t risk having Fang against us!" 😛
Anyone (old enough) to think of this song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InBXu-iY7cw) when reading the title of this update? 😀
I prefer this version.

Apparently Kobolds are pretty much safe.
Am I the only one that thinks that the mistress mask is just not going to look at all right on an Orc? For that mater, where did the ears go on that last convert they showed them putting the mask on?
Yeah, the, umm, hobgoblin? Was wondering about that as well
weren’t tied into the ponytail?
And thus it is kobolds that we have to put our faith and hope in.
My, we _are_ desperate!
