Oh that’s a private joke actually. Back when these comics were being drawn and posted I didn’t realize anyone outside of my own friends circle would be reading them. The flashy dude is Louis Steward, my swordsman character from a pirate game I played in. His great rival was ‘The Greatest Swordsman in all of Italy!" to which Louis once said: "Ah, but we aren’t IN Italy, are we?"
Eventually Louis was declared ‘The Greatest Swordsman in all England." The title is the inevitable payback.
