I’ve got some good news! I have penciled the 2nd Space YAFGC comic! As soon as I have a chance to sit down and scan and letter them and add the FX, I’ll start posting them here with regular YAFGC. And if I’m able to keep them going reasonably, I’ll look into getting them their own page, if not their own site.

So I had planned to update the site with new YAFGC and the first SPACE YAFGC strip today… but you know what? Windows 11 decided it was high time I moved up from Windows 10 and a weekend seemed like a good time to start the process. Well…..   naturally troubles arose. Needless to say, I didn’t get it set up in the three days allotted. So I’ll update the site and then keep trying.

Also: I mentioned to Alex this weekend that there would be interest in him doing guest comics… and he wasn’t opposed to the idea! Fingers crossed. I’d love to see his artwork up here too.

Also-Also: For those of you who miss the old Forums, I’ve just set up a Discord server! It’s called YAFGConversations, and there’s nobody there but me so far. Thanks to “Doc the Kobold” for the suggestion.

Here’s a “fun” update. So while trying to upgrade my OS, Onedrive decided not to BACKUP my files so much as copy my folders and save those. JUST the folders. A bunch of EMPTY folders. I only did this just in case something went bad with my upgrade, but while nothing obvious DID go bad, it just kept updating Windows 10 for hours and then telling me that I still wasn’t ready for Windows 11 (I think it’s still doing more updates later today), but somehow I lost all my  files from 2024 to today. So I went to Onedrive to get them back and found empty folders. Fortunately all my YAFGC stuff is on the YAFGC server untouched by Microshaft, but all my home computer files…. things like my updated resume…. DM notes for all my campaigns….  all my stored YAFGC notes and files… at least the ones that I didn’t have on thumbdrives…. all gone. And I STILL can’t upgrade to Windows 11.

Will report as things get better or worse.
