There is still something that seems ‘off’ about Arachne o_O
Just want to point out, while don’t personally have a high opinion on The Cad, don’t actually _hate_ him, but if calling him ‘The Cad’ or post negatively about him is a problem, will refrain from talking about him at all (was forced to leave one webic because didn’t like one of the characters and referred to them as "That Damn Elf" or simply "TDE" and other readers were getting upset if simply used "TDE", even if saying nothing negative)
I’m not sure anybody cares about that. We all have our character likes and dislikes.
Like said, after the last time with TDE, just wanted to make things were okay with the author
Same with using a false email (got ISP banned from another webic because the author found posts from me were ‘too depressing’ for him to even read, never said anything more depressing or anti-character than anyone else, and was even defending one of the characters when everyone wanted to kill them {which is when the author tried to contact me})
I call him The Cad. It’s a fun thing to call him.
Calling him "a cad" for real would merely be a demonstration of illiteracy.
Pain in the ass, absolutely, but not a cad.

Just as a general suggestion: If you had previous experiences with people reacting as negatively and harsh to your comments as to completely ban you from their sides maybe a simple disclaimer like the one above will not be enough on just another webpage to prevent it happening again. Sometimes it really helps to reflect on what was the other people’s issue with your postings. Sometimes even adapting (a little) can be helpful to avoid similar outcomes in the future. I dont know what happend there and I truly don’t care but sometimes people’s reactions to own behaviour may offer some insight and truth about oneself… 😉
For the record and your peace of mind, I take no offense whatsoever to any like or dislike of any characters in this comic. None of them were designed with the purpose of appealing to anyone other than my muse.
All the characters have strengths and weaknesses and if any of them bother you, so much the better.
Arachne has amusingly gone from being the most beloved to the most hated of all the characters and all I’ve done was write her as she dictated she react in any given situation I’ve thrown at her. I do that for all of them.
So love ’em or don’t. I’m just happy you’re reading, sticking around, and having some kind of reaction at all.

Feared, sure, she can be terrifying, but I really am quite fond of her. Absolutely loved how she just took having a goddess raiding her wine cellar in stride. 😀

He’s annoying, frivolously detatched from reality, gets underfoot, frustratingly oblivious & has only two functioning brain cells dying of loneliness because of the vast void in between them…But hate? Nah, that’s too strong of a word.
