Well, i espected an idea of what happen and later somebody tells the truth of the event.
But it’s weird in that cases so the first knowing was who tell that says the things they did was wrong.
On the other side i had read this comic for so long that i don’t lose the hope. Like Kumatetsu said "Show me them" (in spanish is "A ver si me sorprendes") 😉
It does have an air of "let’s you and her fight" in it, in the sense of someone wanting to stir up a war. And there have been enough officers in our own past who have started wars simply because they personally wanted glory.
I myself am not yet convinced that the victim was actually Taurenil, that the poor double was splatted because someone wanted to hide the true identity (or rather make it harder to prove it wasn’t Taurenil). In true murder mystery manner, the real murderer would be Taurenil herself, offing her own double for purposes of intrigue.
It’s possible she’s either directly involved or being used as a pawn by some other hidden character – perhaps Baron Baz Hoggs or even Lucas Greyfort himself. Lucas has had plans before that got mixed up with Maula in unforseen ways:

But I know Rich is cleverer than that. If it seems obvious it’s almost guaranteed to be some further twist. Keeps me watching though.
the figure on the left and the one in the middle sort of blended together for me into one orc at first glance…
my immediate thought was "and IN goes the prattroot…"
We can see (at least some of) what is done to two of the three orcs, but we only see the third orc’s reaction. Are they singing carols at him? "Gruumsh rest ye merry, gentlemen"?
So, nothing too drastic in the YAFGC universe.

Tatooing flowers on an orc’s butt. That’s just mean.
And hilarious.

And in the spirit of the season, a holly leaf on his back. 😀
Weeell… the orc could always say that the mistletoe tattoo on his back means "kiss my a**e".
The more the Captain speaks, the more I suspect her.

"And now….the comfy chair!"
The wreath in the hair was a nice touch, quite engaging, err i mean enraging!! And the look on tne elf’s face …
Could that be eggnog that Maula’s grandfather is being forced to drink? Eggnog without any rum? The horror!!!!!!
I always love the distinct physical marker of the Bloodhand Clan.

Looks like they made him step on a Lego.
You are unspeakably cruel.
I love it.

Maybe they dropped a fruitcake on his foot.
"It was a damned d4!"
Truly, the cruelty of the elves knows no bounds.
