Great news, I’ve finally updated YAFGC. 4 new strips JUST uploaded, starting tomorrow, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Monday again! My muse paid me a little visit and I burned out some strips.
Now, this comes during a very difficult time for me. I’m spending a lot of time watching job postings. And I’ve given up just applying to art related jobs. See, AI (and a few other factors) has the animation industry in a tizzy and a whole lot of us are just not working anymore. They’ve discovered that it’s a HELL of a lot cheaper to do AI scripts, storyboards, designs, animations, and even voices. What do they need us expensive, unreliable human beings for anymore? So… I spent a year working as a cashier, and now I’m unemployed, looking at pretty much anything. If you’ve got a lead, let me know. In the meantime, I’ll try to keep pumping out YAFGCs.
In an effort to monetize what I DO here at YAFGC, DM and I are trying to get my books converted to Print-on-Demand services, which is a lot more difficult than I thought. But when it works, the store will be more streamlined and… y’know, actually WORK. It turns out I missed a ton of book orders because I wasn’t getting my notifications. Well, many appologies (I had assumed nobody wanted them!) and I’m trying to go through and see what I can do about them. Volume IV is GONE, I have no more of them which is why I’m trying to work on PoD. But…. well anyway. I’m struggling, mentally, to get myself on some kind of track and deal with the idea that TV cartoons may no longer be in my future. Hold out with me friends. Love you all!

Chartering Fang's ship seems like a guarantee a lot of nonsense will happen on your trip. But it's also a guarantee that none of the nonsense will be severe enough to threaten Fang's life, so that's reassuring, at least as long as you don't remember it doesn't necessarily apply to your life. Just Fang's.
Acorns can, in fact, grow quite tall, though they don't usually grow on ships.
Let's hope he doesn't fang things up too much. Oh, who am I kidding? Be yourself, Cap'n Fang, and take these treasure hunters on the ride of their lives.

If they had kids, I'm sure they would be adopted. Amy is too old, and Fang too much of a loony toon, to have them the biological way.
Some women can have children into their 60s, Fang seems to manage several other things unexpectedly well, and it's a webcomic. Not that adoption is ruled out, such as Urza (sorry if I messed up her name).
Another frightening thought… If Fang returned, could Jone? +Shudder+

Agreed, Prairie Son. I keep seeing that shy, sweet face when we first met her, and how happy she could be. As much as I love the story telling aspects, i too hope she finds peace.
I would be happy to see Jone return. While she became quite frightening, but that wasn't her fault. I still hope she could get rid of the effects of Gruumsh's meddling and earn some peace.
And the fact that they're very different species, and the magic has gone away?
Idk, that'd be a Rich question. Humans and orcs, human and elves, elves an satyrs, they can all reproduce without magic, bur i can't recall one way or the other 8f Rich has determined that it is or isn't feasible.
Regardless, having done my time as a day care teacher, I know what toddlers themselves are like. Adorable but quirky is an understatement! 😸

Also the renderings looks really cool, if you have no previous experience it's really well done. Just in case, have you seen about cel shading? I think maybe it would pair better with your art style.
I suppose I could try mimicking cel shading. Those aren't 3d renderings. They're photographs. I built those.

I've been worried about artists ever since trash TV became mainstream because Big Brother, Star Search and all that other crap doesn't deserve to be called art in my opinion. I'm rooting for A.I. to push that crap off the market, because say what you will about A.I. but the stuff A.I. can generate is less bad than trash TV made by trash writers and trash actors, by a huge margin. I believe that there will always be a niche for truly creative artists like you, but mainstream capitalism has been favoring slop for literally decades by now, so I assume by default that an artist isn't able to make money off of their art.
