I’ve altered Carruthers’ line in the final panel. I accidentally miscopied the line t! had given her and this is more what was written. It’s an important character distinction. She’s formal and stuffy. 🙂

No, Wolf could never be woman enough for Arachne.
Arachne was on occasion *impressed* by Wolf, and she was a difficult woman to impress. But no, they were never lovers. The only man I can remember her even making a move on — briefly — was Glon.
I sense racism towards orcs here.
Given that until recently (the last 10-15 years), the usual interaction between the Goblin Lands and the Human Kingdoms was:
"YEEEEEAAAAAAAARRGGHH!!!! HACK! SLASH! REND!!! STEAL THE STUFF!!! BURN THE FARM!!!" aka Raids.
There might be a teeny tiny likkle bit of mistrust and dislike between humans, orcs, goblins and other other goblinoids
But orcs is Fungis! WAAAAAAAAAUUUGGGGHHHHHHH!
I like her. I imagine that she will be hell to convince, but once the evidence is clear, will be a fierce advocate for the truth. Even if that truth is one her boss would rather see buried…
