I’d say Bob is well and truly PISSED. And you just don’t piss off a Beholder, even a young Beholder.
And Mrs. Bloodhand is a damn fine leader. She’s sticking by Bob all the way. Together, the two of them are probably going to make the Rannites wish they never heard of Ranna.
So are they just going to let that disgusting creature continue with pretending to be a person?
They’re ALL monsters. Meegs is only different because she’s now on Ranna’s side.
I don’t mean monster as is a physical sense, I mean the rannit parasite squatting inside her body pretending it’s a person.
Kogan your funny. Reading your wining is like hearing a child say, "but he hit me first".

My point being there’s such a drastic change in the personality of the victim when transformed into a gorgon, it’s NOT the same person. It’s the same body, but the mind is entirely different. Every post-change gorgon has had the same characteristics, cruel, deceitful, treacherous, and fanatical, to the extent they not only willingly, but GLADLY turn on friends, and loved ones they were fighting tooth and nail alongside moments before. Either it’s a different entity that’s controlling them like a puppet, or if it is the same person and they’ve just decided to go with it, they deserve no more mercy than Ranna herself.
I don’t know about that, mind. I’m thinking about Patty Hearst, who was kidnapped by terrorists and held for ransom, then kept and brainwashed into fighting at their side. Once she was free from their influence she was able to reassert her own personality.
That’s the thing about Ranna. She’s just a truly horrible, despicable, unredeemingly evil entity that even the evil gods find absolutely repugnant. She’s been breaking paladins and clerics, and her cult is all about spreading that same sick influence. It’s quite likely that once she’s gone their true natures will reassert themselves and a lot of them will spend the remainder of their lives repenting and atoning.
…Of course, Meegs clearly didn’t get broken so much as she decided a running jump off the moral event horizon was preferable to an ounce of physical discomfort. So I honestly don’t think she’s going to be one of those…
That’s the thing though. The gorgons aren’t just "person turned evil" There is no distinction in personality between any of them, they might as well be clones of Ranna wearing other people’s faces.
If it is still the same person in there, and they’re choosing to simply obey, then no amount of repenting and atoning will ever be enough, and they deserve to languish in the same hell as Ranna.
Bob is not gonna give Gren up. He’s not gonna let her down.
Not gonna float around and disintegrate her.

Problem; the title of the strip is ‘Bob Untruthes’ which makes me think he isn’t telling Mrs. B, the truth about the situation – because sadly, Bob isn’t too bright.
The Grell knows Meegs is a gorgon now, although whether he bothered to TELL anyone – as he isn’t too bright either – is in question.
I feel like I’m missing a pun in the title. Between the odd spelling of "untruthes" and the fact that "Bobs" seems to be missing an apostrophe, I figure it must be a joke that’s whooshing over my head.
