Someone apparently has fond memories of past encounters…..
So she’s grown up to be like her mother, eh?
And there was hope that she was the smart one (well, she did survive the purge, so, technically, suppose that _would_ make her the ‘smart one’, which isn’t saying much)
She can be smart and enjoy abusing her power to make hot men do whatever she wants. Which is the part like her mother I was talking about.
But not smart when ignoring a major warning just to perv at a mook (look what happened when Kassim the Dimwitted ignored Fatinah!)
But she hasn’t heard the warning at this point, only her underlings have.
They would have been much better off bringing Wolf along and leaving Cad to tend to his precious trees

I would have thought that Arachne would be harder to take down… and harder to KEEP down.
Maybe, but she’s not stupid: _she_ might have been able to fight them off or even manage to escape, but how many of the others would have died in the process?
And not only that, she was smart enough that everybody has some shade now…

Have we seen everyone yet? This arc has more beings in it than I even remember from Lich of the Rings.

Adina and her shipmates haven’t made a return to the pages yet, and Yarrick is Dag’s "true love" (we met him sometime in the 400’s)

Drostardy hasn’t been heard from. And I seem to recall Eric I having something to do with putting down Ranna worship.
Oh right, forgot about them, maybe that is where we will pick up with Adina seeing how Drostardy is across the ocean
