Meh… old horror tropes aside, castles tend to be built and inhabited by wealthy people of influence in whatever territory you’re in. It’s a good place to look for one of those.

Of course you use a newspaper to shield yourself from the rain…After all, you forgot to bring an umbrella about the same time as you forgot to fix the spare tire.

And the Vampire’s wives weren’t ALL destroyed, were they?
I’m impressed that she actually forced herself to walk through the mud that quickly, I would have expected her to first wait for the rain to subside.
