Well, they _did_ have something in common: being half-breeds
More to the point, "Ol’ One Eye", God of Orcs, made several attempts to create his perfect avatar of slaughter. Jone was the most successful, but Glon was an earlier attempt… considered a failure because once he was getting laid on a regular basis, dude was just too mellow to go on killing sprees.
Well, looks like the Orc God found Glon’s trigger condition.
