Possible, but most people can tell that just by looking. Elves are very lean and slender. Half-elves have a bit more of a human sturdiness to their look, but still a bit of elven flavour like the pointed ears and being a bit more attractive than average.

Maybe she’s weirded out because she normally kills people quickly with a weapon, and Cadugan was taking a long and bloodless time to die.
She must have somehow sensed he’s a half-blood like her.
