3574 The Quest Begins
June 3 2025
Well that took altogether far too long, didn’t it? Welcome to the next page of Our World(YAFGC). I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but some of the site has been repaired! It’s a start, but Jenny -my brilliant kid- tried playing around with it and found where the code had gone wrong in a couple of places. And we have a logo and header again! Hopefully this will be the start of getting this site back in less tattered shape.
That's 1 tough mom & funny her daughter mentions flashbacks
Thanks Jenny!
And ty Rich! Hoping you are getting some good news on your job search. And that you can enjoy life a bit! Hug!
Sweet.
(Also any art from the sci fi spin-off?)
Woo!
Congratulations on your kid's developing skills! They grow up so fast.
Way to go, Jenny!
Charles, you're asking about where she got her coat and her shirt instead of asking what happened after she left for Costal with the map? Okayyyyyy… 😉
He is jealous of the look and wants to know who her tailor is.
Panel 1 is the reason why you should only buy cast-iron pans, kids!
I think I told you back in COVID to turn your kids loose on the site. Glad to see my faith in the younger Morrises rewarded. And it is a spiffy logo.
Hahah, you did! But they were sufficiently younger that it didn't seem like a good idea back then. Jenny's 17 now, and going into space engineering at university in the fall.
Damn. And I was here reading when you announced Hilary was expecting. Now I feel very old.
*shuffles off to yell at clouds*
Lol i uave a neighbor in his late 80s\early 90s who literally yells at the grass.
Yup. And little Alex is 13.
I am focusing on Panel 4.
Admiring the character designs.
t!
Panel 4? Why that one specifically, may I ask?
It's the eyes in particular.
They're done differently from each other, but each works great for the character.
t!
I love the differences in the expressions in 4. But panel 8 has great ones too, almost cute with the head tilt. But 1 is my fave: i almost missed the feet!
I mean, from the panel, the line should be "I watched…in a blind rage." Mom's looking more astonished.
But really, almost all first person narrators are imperfect.
