There’s a 30 minute version? I haven’t heard that one.
There is a newsreel clip showing one of the variety radio shows that were broadcast over shortwave on the Armed Forces Radio Service. A & C do the baseball routine, but since the show was only going to be heard by folks in the service, they modified the ending from the shortstop being I Don’t Give a Darn to I Don’t Give A Damn!
By the way, P!enapple, you’ve mentioned a couple times you’re from upstate NY. Whereabouts, if you don’t mind my asking. I’m from Rochester.
