A good strip to inaugurate the new year!

Now to see what her personality is like, after being forcibly stripped of Ranna’s influence.

From that stunned, crosseyed expression on Sahar’s face, I’d wager that she has her own mind back. She looks like a bewildered person waking up from a nightmare, not like an angry thwarted villain.

Now for Kurassa to toss her in the same cell as her father, since clearly no scheme they think up can ever be a threat to him.

I don’t think Kurassa will get so far to actually put her in cell.

Kurassa…I keep looking for "the moment it all slipped out of your grasp," and you give me so very, *very* much to work with. You…you haven’t really thought much of this through, have you?

I’ll be curious to hear, sometime, how you thought this was all going to turn out.

He thought it was going to work out perfectly. He always does. (in spite of all previous examples to the contrary) Because he is SO awesome. His time must surely come.

Seeing past the bridge of his nose has proven quite the challenge for him.

I marvel quietly at Rich’s ability to horrify using only situation and implication.

The swelling bite is not helping matters in that regard.

Way to go Kur: you are now in a city full of Rannite’s and no one to protect your worthless assa
And once they find out you can reverse the gorgonzolaisationing, they are _really_ going to be not happy with you

It IS possible that most of those Rannites are grunts who won’t do much without command.

Who we see in panel one _are_ probably the grunt soldiers (possibly even the dead from Ruun?), but there will still be other gorgons and DM’s or ranked officers that we can’t see

….Should you have shown that you can do that RIGHT IN FRONT of a bunch of rannites. At best they think you just tried to depower one of their members at worst they think you’re trying to turn Rannas minions against her.

There was a right time, and there was a wrong time, to do that Kur, guess which time it is…

It *might* work out for him, if he goes for a "Sahar no longer has Ranna’s favor, so I’m your boss now" but that’s a longshot.

This is a surprising twist. I never thought it would be Kurassa who would ungorgon Sahar. I can’t wait to see where this all leads for the defeat of Ranna and Kurassa’s future.

Happy New Year, Rich, DM, and to all!

Seriously? I mean, it was surprising when the idea first appeared in 3290, but unless you just read last four comics in one go …

It is little surprising he does it completely in public like this.

      And Happy New Year, everyone!

What’s surprising, is that he did it out in the open, while she is addressing the entire massed army

And even after reading the last couple pages, finding out that it is Kur who came up with the solution _is_ a surprise

Please to be enlightening me, can never tell if it is just me being dumb, or if it is an ‘inside joke’

Having her ‘for himself’, is the reason why he looked up this particular decursing spell

T-Chall expects me to know Kurassa is a piece of human garbage and to understand his true motives.

That being taken as given, he’ll see my reply as an ironic joke.

Of course I do. And, as is obvious to the functionally literate on this forum, you do not.

You, apparently, would require clarification as to the second verb in the sentence "Run Spot, run!"

Are the forums ever getting fixed? I still can’t send someone a PM, you can’t post to complain about the problem and trying to read any old threads is an exercise in frustration since half of the posts don’t load. If they’re really broken, just get rid of them.

Ten gold says the next strip involves Kurassa gloating about her being powerless now, and then Sahar slaps the smirk off his face.
