Maybe I’m paranoid but Jewel’s smile seems a bit big for someone in the middle of all that horror.
(Puts on best giant trout voice) " It’s a trap !"
If it were a trap, she probably wouldn’t be calling out their names (depending on the exact parameters of the trap, I suppose.) She’s quite possibly been trudging through the Rannite horror show for weeks or longer, with Roberta and Naomi the first friendly faces she’s seen…so the big grin isn’t necessarily out of place, even given their surroundings.
(And smile or no smile, those are some seriously haunted eyes.)

It’s great to see Jewel again, but she does look like she’s been through a lot. It seems like it’s from more than just the passing of years.
Also, I have to say once again I am so looking forward to the defeat of Ranna and the Rannites!
