The pacing in these 4 panels is great.

I especially like the Side-To-Side feel of the last two.

Glad to see Lady Moorish survived (poor horsie :()

Wonder how many of the Daughters survived Adwen’s ‘purge’ (either of the spies or the incompetent)

      "Purge"?
Ugh, doing that before a battle that is only going to get people killed anyways… always seemed like such a waste to me.
I bet the Red Army felt the same way after June 22nd, 1941.

Still, I’d like to know how Adwen convinced them to DO something like save the day. Since, you know, that apparently isn’t what they live for.
      Heh heh…

You would rather she kept the Rancid Daughters and slash or spies, just so they would have the numbers? o_O
You do realise that they are _fighting_ the Rancid invasion, don’t you, and which side do you think the corrupted would join as soon as the fighting began?

It’s best to fight with a depleted force of hardened warriors than have half your forces desert mid-battle and reinforce the enemy

But, we will just have to wait and find out what happened (maybe there was no purge because the main Keep hadn’t been infiltrated yet and she just left the idiots behind, because there most certainly were idiots: "We haven’t heard anything about entire towns being overrun, our spies would have told us")

Y’know, I can’t help but wonder how things would look if Adwin’s "Big Diddums" was still alive……
