Hmmm. I realize rule-of-cool and various other story factors are playing in here, but there is no way they should be running. Bob can nail this guy easily.

He has eye rays! Charm Monster! Fear! Slow! Sleep! Those are the Willpower affecting ones that would be likely to get actually work on the monster.

His destructo beams like Disintegrate and Finger of Death would likely fail on a tough, titanic creature like that. Ditto for Flesh to Stone. But still … he has other options!

However, from a story-telling POV and from a "real life" POV too, it fits perfectly. Faced with a hundred foot tall Godzilla? YOU RUN!

    😀

Yeah, and have to remember: Bob ain’t always that particularly brave (not saying he’s a coward, but he’s not super brave either, and that thing is HUGE!!!!)

Bob doesn’t need to use Disintegrate ON Fauxzilla, just disintegrate a large enough hole for the foot to fit in and that monster isn’t going to pass the Reflex save not to faceplant.
Also Finger of Death on the rider is a perfectly fair option in this senario…

And tactically, if he does fight it, even if he comes out alive the rest of them (except maybe Gadgia) wont.

Okay, what got set on fire? Or is panel three just Meegs Rage? Because in panel four they haul Meegs past the tower (or what looks like the tower)

I think that is Meegs about to lose her, well, composure and attack giant godzilla thing on her own. With her teeth.

Why not? She is a very fashionable mage who likes to feel pretty when seducing her assistants 😀
