I had a feeling as soon as I saw that one part of the transformation process that we’d be seeing Godzilla.

Now the tricky part: how the hell do they kill it/or turn it against Ranna?

It looks like Godzilla, but due to international copyright laws – it’s not.
STILL! WE SHOULD RUN LIKE IT IS GODZILLA!

They just need to convince Duhr (and Conador) that they can exorcise Rancid from Charlie without harming Charlie (or them)

Look it’s a chimera of a whale and a gorilla, how did they get a whale in that hidden valley?

There’s several ways of getting a whale to the Hidden Valley, but they all boil down to "A Wizard did it."

So Ranna has 1) An Army of Dark Mistresses, 2) several Gorgons, 3) an Army of Demons leader by her daughter, 4) an evil half-god, 5) another evil half-god in Jone and finally 6) Godzilla.
    Well… we got a Bob.

          As an old DbZ-Fan…maybe.
Cadugan is the exact opposite of Arachne.
So if the would fuse Luke Goku and Vegeta…

If The Cad tried to ‘fuse’ with Arachne, she would cut off his dangly bits and feed them to Luke 😀

            lol, indeed.
Luckily for Lucas, Cadugan doesn’t swing that way

          • Guesticus
            November 11, 2015, 6:19 am | #

Luckily for The Cad as well, because Arachne doesn’t swing that way either, and she’s a bit more forceful in staying that way 😛

I for one am not terribly concerned about this Giant Target thing. It *may* be fast (we do not know yet), but it can’t be *too* fast, or it would be unsafe to ride in. All I really see at this point is something that can do a lot of damage, but isn’t really defensible from below.

I buy it, though. For some reason it seems to me to go hand-in-hand with the personality type that any megalomaniac would believe that some insanely big thing would (A) scare the lesser creatures into submission, (B) be too mighty to defeat. Half of that’s gotta be vanity, though: "Ooh, look at this huge thing! See how its size proclaims my awesomeness!"

Actually I think she has a rather well balanced force. one Behemoth class and a lot of little rank and file. As long as they don’t stray to far from one another they can cover each other well.

Although they’d have to be *really* well-coordinated so the littl’uns don’t get in the larger one’s way, endangering themselves and reducing the Big One’s effectiveness, that’s still a good point.

If we want to get into full Zilla parody, the characters will have to be drawn in a way that their mouths don’t match their speech bubbles. I have no idea how one would do that.

In "Paul the Samurai," an old spinoff of The Tick, there was a villain called The Dubbed One whose speech bubbles appeared the panel after he spoke.

Looking back at when Lizzie was still Queen, she not only looks ‘shorter’ but also ‘younger’, mayhaps this was brought about by Lloth when She went on a tizz and dethroned Mary (She made Mary a ‘Mark’, so it’s possible She de-aged Liz)

I think almost *everyone* looks younger these days due to Rich’s more fleshed-out drawing style. But the drows are particularly noticeable.

I hereby dub this creature Stegoraptor. Or Titanic Stegoraptor (for it’s size, though it’d be nice to see Stegoraptor ram into an iceberg anyway).

At least since the early D&D Box Set rules, huge monstrosities like that were usually called "Gargantuan (whatever)."

Actually most of us have enough trouble training house cats.

Yet somehow they have velociraptors as hunting hounds. Guess that’s why the Carnotaurus is on point as the beta…

          • Guesticus
            November 11, 2015, 5:58 pm | #

If people can train leopard’s and other big cats, training velociraptors shouldn’t be _that_ difficult, unless Jurassic World lied to us!

Ecologically speaking, there have to be a lot more of those available than of the carnivores.
