A little different in that Satyrs are always and only male, so whomever Taidor took to bed, they were unlikely to have any Satyr blood to contribute. Also Taidor himself, and several of his male children, all look like full-blooded Satyrs… which somewhat flies in the face of his being introduced as a "half-Satyr"; arguably, there should be no such thing, any more than there can be "half-halflings" (which as has been confirmed, there is not).

The implication I took from the family was that Satyrs and Nymphs are the male and female of the species respectively.
Well, they were called in overall as "Nature Spirits" by Cadugan.
