Beholders are among the most top-tier, most dangerous monsters in D&D. They tend to be "final boss" types.
Granted, Bob is a relatively young one, so he's not the most badass of badasses in this dungeon, but he's pretty effective.
I remember in the old gold-box games, a battle with two beholders kicked my ass way more times than a battle with 18 black dragons. Load saved game (again) sigh…
I swear, I’ve read this whole comic several times and I just do *not* remember these last few pages. Were they added later or re-inserted after archive issues?i would have remembered Arachne in that armor!
No, this chapter has been up, in it’s entirety, for a number of years now, and don’t remember any ‘missing’ pages
I know there were some mis-linked pages at some point, so depending on when you last read this section, you may be right?
