Bard’s die alot, it’s just a fact of life. They usually die while adventuring though, so much so that hiding behind a pile of dead Bards has been used as an effective tactic at least once!
But at an innocent challenge where music is played for fun and profit? That’s highly irregular.
Would you be referring to the The Gamers: Dorkness Rising by any chance?
