Yeah, vampire lords aren’t stupid. Picking a fight with one of the most powerful (and most unpleasant) goddesses out there, the spider queen herself? Not a good idea.
And much of Arachne’s attitude is explained. She gives no fucks because she knows Lolth has her back… for now, at least.
