Yeah, she knows that she has Glon & her grandkids to take over if something happens for the worse. So she’s about as right as can be, in that she needs to be seen defending the kingdom, for Glon’s sake if not her own…But she needs to be seen as fighting, not flirting.

Boy, you sure have waited before asking that.
Part of the long-running "joke" or message of YAFGC is that evil and good are relative terms. The Orcs raid, steal, fight, take slaves, eat other sentient beings, torture, practice polygamy (gasp!) and don’t worship Ch’Thier. To some in YAFGC world, that means they’re EVIL!
And we all remember Arachne’s sarcastic observation that being "Good" just means you pretend you don’t enjoy torture and such.
Depends on who’s getting tortured and "such".
Does that make me conditionally evil, or just a little twisted?
In "The Tolkien Letters", the great fantasy patriarch J. R. R. Tolkien said that his greatest regret after writing The Lord of the Rings was that he had written the Orcs as irredeemably evil (in the Biblical sense of the term), which worked well for the story but went against his own beliefs about sapient peoples, even if they may be fantasy races in a story.
On that note, Tolkien’s work has unfortunately been viewed as racist by some misguided commentators. If you want to know Tolkien’s real views of race and racism, you can google — Tolkien Aryan — and you’ll see a brilliant letter by Tolkien himself written in 1938, shooting down an emerging Nazi regime that wished to co-opt his story as their own.
It may also well be that there were some of Tolkien’s orcs that *weren’t* evil…But they would have been likely driven out by the evil majority. In any case, there’s no place in his books where that possibility was ever mentioned or explored because it didn’t contribute to the story at large.
To me it is similar to an argument in one of the (of all places) Animorphs books.

And, of course, what Rich said. The entire foundation of YAFGC is the highly subjective perception of "good" or "evil."
Theres "evil" and then theres Evil the orcs are lawful evil this new group is Asshole evil
If a Paladin’s version of Lawful Good is called Lawful Stupid… I can get behind call a tyrannical group like this Asshole Evil.. or Lawful Asshole (take your pick and see which sticks)

In an MMORPG, Maula’s armor rating would be unmeasurable that way…
In the GURPS Martial Arts RPG source-book, included in the cinematic rules is Bulletproof Nudity. In essence, the more that a martial artist disrobes, the harder he is to get hit in battle (expressing itself as a bonus to Passive Defense). For females, the PD bonus is a bit higher than for the males…

Nah. While I hate to go on record, remember Maula’s deceased hubby taught her strategy, but she taught him how to fight. She can take it.

I think so. I had pulled up the archive of Mrs. B’s comics and it basically just becomes white in that one. I’m not sure how I missed that. I feel so unobservant. But yeah, that’s all we get, so it probably isn’t due to something dramatic.
You gotta love that shes gonna armor up not for deffence but cause the blow back would be annoying
