I’m not sure if it was made clear that she did when the story was last in the Valley, but yes, she does. And Charlotte absolutely loves her, though as a drow, she didn’t exactly know how to express that.

As already mentioned … yeah. She and Charlotte actually seemed to have hit it off a whole lot more than just "the hotties" for each other. With our newfound knowledge of Charlotte’s past history as the vessel for Ranna’s spirit in tha past arc, this is making for the possibility od a real tragedy.
That final panel says, to me at least, that Charlotte is still alive to some extent. I doubt that bipolar ditziness is part of Ranna’s personality. Following on the heels of of that hint form the last installment (regarding "annoying appetites"), it seems there is still a good deal of Charlotte’s personality in control.
I think Ranna is lying about Charlotte being in the afterlife. Or perhaps it’s wishful thinking on her part. From what we know, if Charlotte really dies, so also does Ranna … something which Ranna may not be fully aware of.
We shall see.
It would be nice to see Charlotte be alive and free of Ranna, perhaps even to live happily with Llotharia.

Really hope that Charlie gets to return to her body, in healthy condition, she deserves to be happy 🙁
