Must be something like that, we know that Arachne and Charlotte are both *way* older than 83, and therefore so is her older sister and all her friends.
It might be that Elves count time in Great Years…Every Great Year is equal to 100 Human years. That would make her pretty durn old, wouldn’t it?

Good point. She is "83", but it was never specified "83" what. Seasons? Years? Decades? 83 "score" (meaning 20 years)? 83 hundred? Different cultures assume different units by default.
