I dig that Familiar Mouse is actually kinda mouse-sized!
If he were, say, the size of a dwarf or something, that’d be WEIRD!
(Even weirder if he had a dog!)
He got a bit bigger, but not a lot. Maybe double original size?
A bit looks like the bard's and druid's Awaken spell – it gaves plants and beasts an INT score of 10. But the transformation effect should be only on targeted plants…
