"King Paul’s little sister. One of 9 insignificant siblings… "
You must have had quite the chuckle at the misinterpretations of this – and the resulting speculation.
Not sure I would think of the current next in line as ‘insignificant’ until there were two nieces/nephews acting as a buffer between the siblings, but clearly the people of the time felt differently.
As a certain Duke of Gloucester demonstrated, royals are only insignificant until they ain’t.
I’m assuming Elegrost passes down to the next eldest child then, as a lot of monarchies until recently would pass directly on to the eldest male heir, skipping all the sisters.

What happened to all those siblings between them?
I suspect their fate is about to be chronicled.
I never said there were siblings between them. I just said she was one of many. Happens that she’s the 2nd born.
You sneaky, sneaky devil you.
True!

"Bad weather…" (q)
I got only two words for this: uh oh
My first reaction to panel 4:
"Oh, dear Lord….."
"I can fix EVERYTHING now!"
Yeah, like, what happens when sodium is dropped onto water…
"Unexpectedly", of course…
Innocence is a beautiful thing. :-/
The more innocent and pure something is, the more satisfying it is to corrupt it.
Depends on what kind of corruption you’re talking about, but I agree with the saying in principle.
Why corrupt it when you can destroy it for your entertainment? 🙂
without an heir…or hair it appears!
Power corrupts, but absolute power corrupts the most
