To be fair, I’d probably put Arachne in the dungeon too. Keeping her confined is about the only way one can be sure she isn’t doing something horrible to something you care about.

The Baron’s horrified look at Elzear’bith and her greeting is priceless. However, delays are definitely not a good thing right now. Hopefully Glon can get things back on track with alacrity.

Arachne prefers dungeons… but only if they are using the devices on her

How come you think the put Arachne in a Dungeon and she did not just CHOOSE or insist on going there?

Does she _look_ happy to be there? o_O

To be fair, Arachne doesn’t look happy very often or about much of anything…

She probably chose it, but is probably gettin antsy since she hasn’t been properly tortured in a while.

Now you have me wondering what their reaction to Lewie was in Elwood, and what side of the bars he is on. *chuckle*

Hmm, shouldn’t she be Elzear’bith Jester of the Drow now? 😛

That would spoil some things for new readers, because I think the same name would be used under older pages.

No, she is still known as the Queen, same as when POTUS get kicked out, their title is for life (unfortunately in some cases 🙁 )

Heh, being Jester has really rounded Elzear’bith’s edges as it were 🙂

What? You saying she is chubby now? o_O

She’s a bit less shrill and haughty 🙂

One question: why is Arachne looking so tired? And when did she grow her hair long again? O_o

Okay, she has had long hair (preferred her with the short hair) at least since this arc started, but she still looks tired 🙁

Well, she _does_ have to share a cell with Elzear’bith…

Interesting that Glon is not behind bars.
    – Because he is not the other two specific persons?
    – Because he has rank?
    – Because he is half-human?

    Hmm…

What rank does he hold that tops Queen? o_O

There are no queens present. Elzear'bith is a jester now.

Because Glon was part of the plot that got the high elves all freed, after they were slaves to the Drow for some time, I would think. I imagine the elves of Elwood are a bit twitchy about Drow just on principle after that. Besides, they have to put them somewhere without windows to protect them from the sun anyway. *dry chuckle* And I would imagine Crown Prince Glon ranks above former-queen and current jester.

Yes, but Clown Prince Glon is still outranked by Arachne 😛

True! If only because Arachne is just damn scary. *chuckle* But not everyone knows that.

-a crown-prince of a kingdom with a friendly history and diplomatic standing gets certain due courtesies, half-orc, or not?
-drow showing up unannounced with no guaranties of good behavior don’t get to wonder freely the High Elf keep?
-Arachne is more concerned with staying on good terms, than annoyed, for once?
-past crimes actually committed by those specific persons against citizens of Elwood?
-fear of Queen-Mama Bloodhand or the princesses’ if Glon is mistreated?
      …

I’m completely puzzled by "Baron Tiny Pants". o_0

For some reason I hear that last line as a bubble gum popping, Jersey accented "Howyadoin’" 🙂

Puzzled by that as well, must have something to do with when Lizard-Breath was still Queen and Elwood was a slave

Come to think of it, a little worried for ex-Queenie now, these sorts of adventures tend to have high casualty lists 🙁

You call it high casualty lists, I call it housekeeping. Sometimes you just have to trim down a bloated cast.
