That is what I love abouth this comic: almost real-life how people are not evil or good, but both.
And the humour of course. The timing. The deep plots, continuity and plot twists, The drawing style (much better than the full colour). … Okay, this is one of the many things I love about this comic.
Orcs do breed faster. But I guess enough time has passed to show the current queen (always forget her name) with a waxing belly.
The qeustion ‘how long does a elven pregnancy last’ came up at a larp once. we concluded that since elves had a longer live span and matured more slowly that a elven pregnancy would take 9 years.
And the women didn’t? I thought that ‘nature’ only dulled the memory of the birth pains… I cannot imagine that energetic 4th and 5th years can make elven women forget three years of limited mobility, back pains, nausea, etc…
Mmmm… you probably were right. 9 years pregnancy would be the perfect explanation for the dwindling elven numbers 😉
While it can vary depending on setting elven pregnancies aren’t anywhere near as unpleasant as human, childbirth is even remembered as a pleasant experience. Only when something goes wrong or when carrying a half-elf are things unpleasant.
So yeah, no sickness, no limited mobility, no hormonal surges, no stretch marks, no pain.
Typos just mean you are in the right place: typos and still being able to see the line-art (not meaning to be rude about the typos, and that is more of ‘wrong word used’ than a ‘typo’)
