With all his Lich powers Lewie should be able to F-up any army.
Cause wounds, disease, power word of death(kind of the reverse of cure all wounds) drain strength/ life Then there is the old raise undead. Liches are bad asses. Crap i forgot to mention all his spells.
Funny as these cheap stunts he is using are, these are better left to professional trained coyotes.
Except, when he tries to do evil for bad reasons, it always screws up, as we have seen the last couple pages 😀
he is not vary good at being a Lich
Well, I say he’s a very successful Lich. Even though he’s not that good at what he *does*, the fact that he’s still a Lich means he’s successful at what he *is*
I’d like to note that 1400 doesn’t exist. Can’t be accessed through the archive link either.
That’s odd…. what do you get an error message? I’m not having any trouble accessing it myself. Please describe the problem for me. 🙂
It’s saying "Page Not Found"
FYI: the 1400 page seems to be a dead link. Tried pasting the link above and then going to the chapter "Welcome Back Lewstrom" and clicking through the previous comics. Got the same result both times: Page Not Found.
Very strange… I’m looking into it, but it works fine both ways for me. Any chance the problem could be at your end? I’ll continue to check my links.

I’m not having this problem at my end. I’ll check my codes and links, but it’s working fine for me here. Keep me posted and I’ll let you know if I find anything.

Not sure that’s gonna keep Joan down. Given Lewie’s current luck, she’ll reassemble as some sort of draugr skeletal warrior to plague him forever more.
Technically, dragur skeletal warriors would come from their burial *mound* but in this case, Jone would have to emerge from her burial *crater*
Looks like Lewie’s explosive behavior blew up page 1400.
Yeah, this is happening for a lot of people but I don’t see a problem on my end. I’ll keep looking here, but let me know what you’re seeing. "Page not found?" or something like that?
Note that it works correctly for me as well … can it be related to cache? The page 1400 I’m seeing ends with "Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2015-04-17 08:09:16".
Interesting. I don’t see that on mine anywhere. I’ll check the site cache, but if everyone who’s having a problem with the page can check theirs too, it’d be a big help.
It’s the last comment in the page source. I am unable to view page 1400 either and the comment I’m seeing says "Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2015-04-17 11:35:29". Cleared my cache, still nothing, no change in page source.

But … accidentally blowing himself up and taking out the target? Accidentally?
I have to think a bit about how much I like this. Somehow (and I’m not sure exactly how) this makes the whole Jone arc even more tragic and sad for me.
It’s sort of like, um, Jone is the only person in this world with worse luck and a harsher curse than Lewie ..?
To be honest, I was not much of a fan of the latest Looney Tunes-like strips, but this conclusion made it all totally worth it. Wonderful.

I have cleared the cache. Please try to access page 1400 again and let me know if you can see it (if you couldn’t before, that is.)
Still can’t see it, I can see 1399 and 1401, it seems to be that 1400 is the only faulty page.
Disregard last reply. Reloaded page and now it works.
Just tried it, 1400 is still "Page Not Found", 1399 and 1401 are fine though
I’m not having any trouble. I tried it when I saw the first comment. I copied the link from this page and pasted it in the URL bar, then I went to the Archive and followed the link from there. No problems with either method.
Just tried it again, both ways. Still no problem. Page loads just fine for me. I’m using Firefox v35.0.1 on WinXP, visiting from the Philadelphia area in the States, Internet provider Verizon.
Maybe some of the problems are users on smart phones ..?
Also, since I’m posting again …
Panel #4. Instead of "Uh oh …" that might have been a good opportunity to hold up a sign, maybe "help." or "mommy." Or … open a Very Small Umbrella and hide behind it? Just some thoughts for when you finalize the strip for publication. 😉

Initially, went straight to 1400 via the Archive, and then via the forward and back links from 1399 and 1401, but alls goods now 😀

hi, love the comic, been reading a while but first time to comment. Regarding the broken link issue. if you copy the link as http://yafgc.net/comic/1400-the-end-of-things/) you will get page not found. The problem seems to be the ) at the end.
If copy it as http://yafgc.net/comic/1400-the-end-of-things/ you will have no problem.
At the time, I couldn’t reach the comic even when I tried to click next from 1399. It wasn’t that. Now it is fixed, so it is probably cache related.
Makes me think of some of the properties of Skull-Whomper Ale from the Nodwick comics. If I remember, both the elves and the dwarves tried to have it labeled as a WMD.
Many really good things happen accidentally after you’ve been intentionally working on them for years. That’s how Goodyear optimized tyre cure. But this time it’s EXPLOSIVE. And explosion is FUN.

Okay, I didn’t expect that. What I did expect was that a spark in a cavern full of high-octane booze would indeed blow up…what I didn’t expect was that it actually worked.
