My name here might indicate some bias in my thinking… but I think Lucas would be smart to take Charlotte up on her offer. After all, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to be on at least respectful terms with the Drow in a "we leave each other alone, but keep in touch in case we have a common enemy that needs our attention" kind of way. Hell, make it a bit of mutual intrigue. Everyone knows the Drow will do their thing so the humans better git gud and learn how to counter those ploys. Since Lucas is also in good with Maula, this means that the intrigues are very unlikely to get to full blown war status so it could be a way for both sides to stay sharp.
But, I’m a sucker for the Drow and Arachne is awesome so I’m probably biased and talking out my ass.

I mostly agree, especially when thinking of Arachne, but I must admit that I’d be hard pressed to say "no" to Charlotte. ❤️
