Is it common for drow to be masochists?
It's not. The matriarchy-based colture makes them disdainful towards men, and their faith worship a demonic being as their goddess, so they are usually well trained to cause pain, but that makes them only kind of sadistic. Masochism is just as rare among them, than among humans.
