Using this format, the Battle of the Last Alliance in Lord of the Rings would be written as 2/3441 (Second Age, Year 3441) and the crowning of King Elessar Telcontir of the Reunited Kingdom of Gondor and Arnor would be 3/3019 (Third Age, Year 3019).

Wasn’t technically the Crowning of Elessar a month into the fourth age? I believe the fourth age began with the fall of the Dark Lord on the 25th of March 3021 and Elessar’s crowning was on the first of May 3021, Gondor reckoning.

C’rhynne has very prominent eyelashes in the flashback, but not in the present-day stuff. Does that indicate a genuine change in appearance, or reflect the way Glon’s crush altered his perceptions and his memory?

The 7th Age was VERY short. It would be corrected by future historians.
The Seventh Age marked the Grand Empire of the Kobolds, the only military force to survive the siege of Black Mountain.
It ended when Emperor Plundercheek got distracted by a weird-looking bug.

Sauron fell in 3019, but Aragorn’s crowning and the official start of the Fourth Age was in 3021.
