It isn’t called a "Death Duel" after all, not a "Duel to the Death".

Naturally, I once again do my best proof reading afterwards.

Never heard of a "death duel". Always been called a Duel to the Death where I’m from :p

Except of course when it’s "to the pain…"

Something tells me that the Troglodyte Chief isn’t gonna make it to the dueling grounds whole and hale.

When you consider any senior Drow woman has had to deal with more than a few centuries of Dark Elf politics and all the underhandedness that entails…

Yeah, this isn’t going to go well for the Troglodyte Chief, I would think.

Go on, Your Majesty. Make the shade of Arachne proud and take care of business.

I’m not sure how she’ll do it, but she definitely has the right mindset!

well the Troglodyte Chief is loud enough for her to hear where her target is, so…

Don’t forget, troglodytes also stink worse than a rotting skunk’s anal glands.

Calm down, Jais, and consider Wolf’s expression. Does he look worried?

That’s our girl! 🙂

I am reminded of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Guy shows up swinging sword, Indy pulls out revolver, shoots him dead.
Apparently Ford asked "Why am I going to duel the sword master when I have a GUN?" It was considered a valid question.

I’d read that Harrison was suffering from the flu. He was supposed to disarm the guy with his whip, but was so tired and fed up he drew his pistol instead. Everyone loved it.

But yes, that’s the sort of emotion I’m hoping to evoke here. 😀

You set yourself a challenge. That was a golden moment in Raiders.

That’s exactly right. He just wanted to get the shot over with; it was his minor-league job action to just chuck the script down the Well of Souls and shoot ‘im. The reaction of the extras is genuine, and it was so funny Lucas kept it in. ^.^

Yes, Ford had been sick (specifically dysentery) and not in the mood for days more of this crap (so to speak) in the hot sun. But I understand (and that’s what Snopes says as well) that he did bring it up to Spielberg before the shot (otherwise you can’t be sure the other actor will react correctly) and so they changed what had been planned. Probably without telling anyone else so the extras would react appropriately.
