Okay, I don’t remember a minotaur, but it’s been a long time since I’ve looked at the module & I’m too lazy to go digging into a bunch of boxes to find it.

He’s just lucky he didn’t go into the next cave down, which includes the Hall of Skeletons, the Altar & Chapel & Temple of Evil Chaos, and eventually an imprisoned medusa. That is, it would have if we assumed everything in the yafgc-verse is the same as the Gygax-verse.
Sounds like he’s already done that one!
The comic "Keep on the Borderlands" did the fire-beetles, and the stirges, no Minotaur (yet)
The many downsides of questing barechested continue to make themselves known.
it has been a long time but i think that was one of my favorite storyline when i first read it
