I never got drunk, not once.
I don’t understand why people do this, it does not even feel good to drink to me. :/
If you feel like *already, feeling like shit physically does not comfort anything…well. People are different.

My family is Irish/German, heavy on the
      Irish.
I saw the reasons to NOT drink quite often. I don’t like it either. You’re not alone.

Yeah. Drunk people look and act horrible. I don’t like it either.

I too am like that, however I can say from what I have seen with others, that getting drunk (to a point) enhances your current state, so if you are distressed, it will make things worse, and if you are happy, it will make you even more joyous.

Once upon I time, I got drunk. Didn't like it. I was just like normal, only more awkward and clumsy. Also, the days after weren't fun.
      So I know why I don't drink.

    Drinking can make sense.
Tip a few glasses, and tense people relax, shy people become more social, and obsessive worriers become easily distracted by more immediate entertainments, so-so jokes become gut-bustingly hilarious.

Drinking to the point of becoming blackout drunk is an act of youthful inexperience, and rightfully looked down upon as a complete failure in adults old enough to know where their limits are. To get completely drunk on purpose is to deliberately FAIL to be an adult.
