This has been bugging me: were <I>any</I> of them (the hags) in a position to have made such a deal in the first place?
Wouldn’t surprise me if ownership of intruders is pretty much finders keepers. In which case, sure.
No, the deal for Bollo and the others going free. But I think that Annie and Maula are good enough friends.
Their bargain was "to petition the queen to escort them all out safely". That doesn’t mean the Queen is necessarily obligated to say yes to the request.
Pretty sure if Maura were present, they’d at least be asking why they’re here before letting them go. Maybe she doesn’t care, maybe she does, but she probably wouldn’t let them go for nothing.
Well, they had some non-hostile relationship with humans and non-monstrous humanoids, so they are not necessarily enemies.
