    The "slave or two" … yeah.
    Taking the half orc is understandable as the humans weren’t treating her right, and could be argued as a cause for the raid in the first place.
    Taking any other sentients is ISIS level. Orcs need to learn not to do that.

      A. This is fiction. Not even very realistic fiction.
      B. These are NOT humans, at all. They don’t "need to learn" human values.
      C. The actual monsters would probably think a human terrorist group like ISIS is cute.
      D. When did ISIS become your benchmark for human evil?
      E. I advise you to get phrases like "these people need to learn [what I think is important]" out of your vocabulary and your head. It sounds incredibly racist.

      Up until the British wiped out the practice 200 years ago, slavery was completely normal all over the world. What makes you think that slavery is illegal even among humans in a medieval inspired fantasy world?

    I would only ask, that didn't you considered those killings came from a third party? Maybe one, which tries to blame the orcs for it? You had enough eyperience with the drow as well, to know how some of them work…
