New entry, lovely sepia art, fairy tale like story set in the Middle East.

I also like Bug, which is a hilarious gag-a-day comic, it has some of the funniest strips i saw on the web

and the surrealistic travels of Edmund Finney who is searching for the meaning of life.

Heard of Golden? It was a thirty page experiment by some of the more well known fantasy webcomic artists. It is concluded now and it is hilarious:

(a little more mature then YAFGC)

(interesting read, but ultimetly dead)
(finished)
(daughter of Jack)
(made by the same guy who makes VG cats, so it updates rarely)

(technichly not dead, updates slowly)

Alien Loves Preditor (link not provided becuse i dont read it on this computer)

( Epiiiiccc)

(not that great, but good enough to give you a good chuckle every now and then)
(things start to actually make sence once the charicter named Ariel is introduced)
(is that even its real name?)
and finally
(fanfic comic made by a freind of mine, he's currently looking for a place to host his comic propper, so let me know if you know of any place that would host a comic like his)

Okay... so I started reading Goblins a while back, and once I got caught up to the present (at the time) I put it in my weekly comics list, and checked it out every Wednesday. I've been doing this all summer, and just found out today that it updates twice weekly.

I honestly hadn't noticed that I'd missed every other update for the past three months or so. I'm not sure if that's the comic's problem, or mine.

Considering that I quit the comic after realizing I'd missed close to a dozen strips without losing the thread, I'd say the strip.

For those who like Aaron Williams work, I was digging around and found that he's slowly putting the backlog for Nodwick, Full Frontal Nerdity and PS 238 up on his site . About three pages a week for PS 238, so you have about 25 issues up there. Nodwick is in the "Krutz!" issue (forget the number), and I can't stand FFN so you're on your own for that one.

Uhmm... it is not the comic. The creator sometimes adds the previous update to the next, so the page will flow better, so you weren't actually missing anything most of the time.

I was checking Thistil Mistil Kistil the other day, and the creator had some great webcomic suggestions. I only note here the ones i discovered through her, but be sure to take a look at her plug ins!

Unsounded: One of the best fantasy comics out there. Professional art, smart script, two great characters, exciting story, rich world... and so far in is no more than a hundred pages. On the do not miss list!

Seven Extraordinary things + other stories
Doug Lefler is probably well known already. He just completed Seven extraordinary things which is about art and the desire to be and do. Starting a new story now, which updates daily.

FreakAngels
I take it Warren Ellis needs no introduction either. FreakAngels is sci-fi transhumanism and the story is as good as they get. I usually do not like post apocalyptic but this got me hooked.

Unsounded does have great artwork, but it reminds me of why I despise Western stories with child protagonists.

I had just mentioned this on the Fan Fiction thread, but it's worth mentioning here - Doc Paradox wrote a short story about the 8th Doctor and the end of Gallifrey some time ago, that someone converted into a web comic too:

Finished reading Agatha H and the Airship city. I liked the novel adaptation of what ended up being the first trade paperback of Girl Genius more than I expected to. More so even then re-reading said trade paperback though that holds up very well too. I debated posting this in The Dreaded Printed Word thread but consider this thread the ultimately most appropriate.

To make sure to stay properly on topic has anyone been reading Bloomin' Faeries? It's not a favorite of mine yet but I've read far worse. Here is a handy link to the first comic:

I quit that one about the time it was deemed to be humorous to give a brat the magical ability to force his sister into sex without reference to her own desires. The author's response to a wall of criticism pretty much sealed the coffin.

Honestly, you can safely skip most webcomics. When they're good, they're very good, but all too often they're just mediocre.
