Rich Morris' Comics - YAFGC and The ComixBlog

I recently got a link for from my boyfriend, who in turn got it from a friend in Germany. If you like steampunk then this is a great read.

- I spotted this one in the frontpage for plugging YAFGC. Gave it a quick glance... I like it a lot. I think it's gonna be one of my favorites with YAFGC and OOTS. Check it out if you haven't.

I don't really confine myself to specific genres. Here's a short, partial list of what I read regularly, and brief descriptions. Stuff that's not linked has been linked to earlier in this thread. A * before the name is my equivilant of grabbing you by the shoulders, shaking vigorously, and yelling "YOU MUST READ!!"
*Schlock Mercenary-Indescribably awesome. Rather than a plot summary or anything, just go read it.
*-In a comic with hammerspace, high-school magic-users, a weresquirrel, transformation guns, shapeshifting aliens, and anime-style martial arts, it would be really easy to make it just absurd and silly (see Dr. McNinja, below, if you want that) but the character development and characterizations are what really make this comic great. My intro to gender-switching humor (which is surprisingly funny)
-A luxury battlecruiser-turned-art-museum. ST parodies, temporal warfare, and good artwork.
-extreme toy-related strangeness. Ronald Reagan working at a toy store is a minor plotline. Yeah.
*OoTS-If you read fantasy/gamer webcomics (and since you're reading this you obviously do) and you haven't heard about this by now, there's not much point in my trying to tell you
Erfworld-same site as OoTS. Different focus. Still interesting, but less so, IMO
YAFGC(duh, since I'm here)
-A pothead angel accidentally "misfiles" some paperwork, turning a guy into a girl and de-aging another girl 2 years. This is not a plotline, this is the premise.
-A teenage girl gains magic powers. Hilarity ensues
-A humorous parody of WoW, seen through the eyes of Ohforf'sake, a newbie in the world of "Clichequest"
-A good-aligned party of adventurers (including one who plays a paladin the way the class should be played) Thing is, they're goblins.
*Dr. McNinja-An Irish (or possibly Scottish) doctor who is also a ninja. He thinks he trained with Batman, his mentor in med school was Ben Franklin's clone, his receptionist is a gorilla, and he has a 9-year-old mustachioed Velociraptor-riding mexican gunslinger sidekick. If he jumps the shark, it'll be on a rocket-powered snowboard outracing a nuclear explosion while he fights off alien cyborgs, and the sharks will be in a pool of acid (they will be immune to the acid) and shoot lasers from their eyes.
-The adventures of a genetically engineered bipedal wolf with the speech abilities and mind of a smart human (she's an engineer and can maintain and fix orbital spacecraft) and her boss and coworker, an alien and a robot, respectively.
Girl Genius-Victorian-era general tech+mad scientists who can make death rays and robots from said tech=win.

Oh, and Dominic Deegan, but that's more along the lines of "It's so bad I can't look away"
I also used to read , which was absolutely hilarious, but is sadly being ended. Read it before it gets taken down.

I checked out Goblins, since it sounded like a really nice idea. Really worth a check. I laughed out loud on the 3rd strip (which is quite rare, I think C&H has only done it before this one) and laughed many times more after that.

: Don't miss the mouse-overs on this one.
: The very first webcomic a friend showed me and got me hooked on the things.
: And of course, the inestimable Irregular Webcomic!, which remains one of my all-time favourites.

Recently the creator of Irregular Webcomic!, David Morgan-Mar, together with the Comic Irregulars, began an homage to Shamus Young's now-finished DM of the Rings with a screencap comic called . It's already been translated into Dutch, German, Hebrew, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Hungarian, Norwegian, Swedish, Pirate, Poetry and Klingon (for the ultimate geek). They plan on doing all 6 movies, ultimately, though right now they're just up to the start of the podrace, so it's a good time to jump in while the archives are small. The scary thing is, there are things that make so much more sense in that first movie when seen as an RPG... check it out to find out how.

Some new finds: all of them update steadily and have compelling storylines.

Gunnerkrig Court, with very original art and storyline. Fantasy, steampunk and modern elements combine beautifully.
Heroes of Lesser Earth is yet another fantasy gamer comic!
Weregeek. About gamers...
Girly: slapstick comedy
Zona: Barbarian princess, enough said!

And this just in: http://www.twilightlady.com, a dark fantasy thing that seems to have potential despite the unusual art style!

I'm actually going back to read some webcomics. I just caught up on this one in fact. 200 pages all in one day I am proud of myself.
